Hola.
During the last year, after my departure from NTT Disruption (which has recently closed, laying off about 80 people) I have been in several recruitment processes. The experience on most occasions has been quite improbable. It continues to amaze me how poorly this process is done, both in large and small companies.
Lack of feedback, not responding to emails, not giving an answer, not commenting on the remuneration conditions in the first interview, not appearing at meetings scheduled well in advance...
In one of them, one that is also well known and respected within the design sector in Spain, when the process was quite advanced and there was even talk of possible dates of incorporation, suddenly there was silence. The person in charge of the process did not even respond to the two emails I sent him asking about the situation. I still don't understand it.
There is a lot to improve, of course, but at least by doing the whole process remotely I have saved a lot of time 🤷🏻♂️
I hope that in the next mailing I can announce the sale of tickets (Early Bird) for the design event that I am curating in Valencia, from June 13 to 18, called Experience Valencia, with world-class speakers.
